What is a good MMO first person shooter?

I don’t care if it is free or has a monthly fee. I really want to play a fps which is massive and preferably includes some form of rpg elements like leveling up skills.

I was going to buy PlanetSide but a lot of people say that it is dying, so I dunno.

Your suggestions?

  1. Look at http://mmohut.com/ for a directory of free MMOs and MMORPGs. If you’d prefer to see a massive ‘list’ with reviews / exp rate / playerbase and such check out http://mmohut.com/gamelist
    I use that site to find new games to play / read up on ones I heard about. Good resource.
